Bob was born in Hays, Kansas on Oct. 3, 1931. He graduated from McPherson High School in 1949 and continued his education at the University of Northern Colorado. He later attended Iliff School of Theology. Bob married his high school sweetheart, and love of his life, Geneva Quisenberry on September 21, 1951. They enjoyed a lifelong partnership of 60 beautiful years.
After retiring as a Lt. Colonel from the USAF, Bob followed his calling into the ministry and was ordained into the priesthood. He began the Road to Emmaus Mission for the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado, served at St. Stephens Episcopal Church in Longmont, Colorado, and Iglesia Episcopal de San Pablo in Phoenix, Arizona.
Fr. Bob lived his life as an obedient and faithful servant to his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, a hero to his family, and a patriot for his country which he served for 27 years. He touched the hearts and lives of all those who were blessed to have known him.
Of the many ministries in which Bob was involved, some of the nearest to his heart included helping establish the Crossroads Ministry in Estes Park, Colorado and serving alongside his wife as Regional Executive Officers for Marriage Encounter. In the latter years of his life he followed his calling to further his service in third world countries. He attended language camps where he developed lasting relationships with others called to serve. His greatest love was drilling fresh water wells in Guatemala with Living Water International.
Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Geneva, his parents, and his brother-in-law, Arthur Miller. Left to cherish Bob in their memories are:
