Robert Wayne Roe

Robert W. Roe, 67, of Longmont, passed away on August 15th, 2021 at his home. He was born February 18th, 1954 in Boulder, Colorado to Joann “Judy” Roe and Richard “Dick” Roe from Lyons, Colorado. Bob worked as a Class A CDL driver for 35 years. He spent the latter part of his career working in management for ready-mix, as a commercial driving instructor and retired as a safety and compliance manager in 2013.

Bob’s most joyous moments were spent with his son; camping and hunting in the beautiful Colorado

Rockies and most recently, the plains of Nebraska. Many years they spent fly fishing Colorado rivers, and watching football was a Sunday tradition. Those who knew him would say he was the life of the party and loved nothing more than to joke and laugh with family and friends. He was truly one of a kind and will be greatly missed.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Judy and Dick Roe; brother, Richard Roe; sister, Gloria Simpson and grandson, Riddick Andrews.

He is survived by his loving companion; Tonja Edgington of Longmont, CO. Children; Bobby (Beth) Roe and Colby Edgington of Longmont, CO; Amanda Andrews of Mead, CO; Cade (Sara) Edgington of Gilcrest, CO. and brother-in-law Wayne Simpson of Montrose. He is further survived by his beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary, Inc. Graveside services will be held at the Lyons Cemetery on August 28th, 2021, at 11am, followed by a celebration of life. The celebration of life location will be provided at the graveside service.
