Robert E. Schroeder

Robert E. Schr der passed away April 1, 2015 at the Life Care Center in Longmont, CO. He was 86 years old.Robert was born on May 12, 1928 in Delphos, Ohio to Henry and Iola Schr der. Robert graduated from High School and enlisted in the Navy where he served from March 20, 1946-Jan. 8, 1948. He then enlisted in the U.S. Air Force where he served from 1948-1973, being honorably discharged a Crew Chief. Following his time in the military he worked for the U.S. Post office from 1973-1976.In his free time Robert enjoyed watching television.He was preceded in death by his parents; his son Thomas Gaither; his daughter Melanie Cunningham; and his granddaughter Iola Gaither.Robert is survived by his wife Audrey Schr der; his sons Daniel (Peggy) Gaither of Longmont, CO and Dennis (Gail) Gaither of Pickerington, OH; his daughter Roberta Sue Anderson; his grandchildren Robert SP Gaither, Michele Hoffman, Bobby Gaither, Audrey Taylor, Alfred Gaither, Bryan Cunningham, Donald Anderson, and Jennifer Anderson.No services will be held in Colorado.
