

Robert Souice was born on August 6, 1938 in Iliff, Colorado to Sylvester and Rita Soucie. His family moved to Longmont in 1944 and he spent his boyhood years on their farm near Hygiene. He attended Lyons High School and later joined the United States Navy and served as a radioman aboard the U.S.S. Algol in the Pacific Ocean. Upon discharge he married Eileen Aschenbrenner and had a daughter, Terry. They later divorce.
In Longmont Robert was a member of and Past President of the Longmont Jaycees. He worked at the Times Call where he began his career in the printing industry. He later owned a printing companying Longmont and worked for several large corporations in Denver, culminating in working with the city of Littleton for eleven years.
In 1992 Robert married Judy Flynn and they resided in Englewood, Colorado. After retirement they enjoyed traveling throughout the eastern half of the United States. Robert was an avid reader, accomplished chef and lover of history. They returned to Longmont in 2016. Robert passed on December 12, 2020.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Doug and Frank. He is survived by his wife, Judy, daughter Terry (Scott) Lee, sister, Eunice Hinson (Bobby), grandchildren Nathan (Beth), James (Amy) and Dani (Jackie), 5 greatgrandchildren and ex-wife Eileen Smith.
Private graveside services will be held December 29, 2020 at Mountain View Cemetery in Longmont, Co.
