

Ron was born March 9, 1946 in Steamboat springs, CO to Ivy A and Bernice (Albin) Kelsay. He grew up in Yampa, CO. In 1964 he graduated from Soroco High School and attended C.U. in Boulder for 2 years before enlisting in the Air Force in 1967. He served in Viet Nam as a jet engine mechanic.
In 1971 Ron moved to Longmont where he joined his brothers Ivan and Paul and James Brown as owners of Ross Heating and Air Conditioning. In 1981 Ron started his career as a chemical operator at Arapaho Chemical and retired 20 years later from Roche Chemical.
Ron enjoyed traveling, reading, photography and being with his family and friends. He was a member of the V.F.W. and the American Legion.
He is survived by brothers Donald of Greeley, CO, Glen (Clarine) of Virginia Beach, VA, Ivan (Sherry) of North Bend, OR, Paul (Peggy) of Gillette, WY and his sisters Merna (Don) Youngman of Hemet, CA, Ida (Dick) Holmbeck of Como, CO and Doris O’Grady of Bandon, OR. Seventeen nieces and nephews and numerous great nieces and great nephews and a host of friends further survive him.
Preceding him in death were his parents, grandparents, sister-in-law Regina (Donald) Kelsay and his brother-in-law Tim O’Grady.
At his request no services will be held.
