Ronald was born on June 18, 1950, in Grand Junction, Colorado, to Lynn Curtis Parker and Doris Louise Delmargo. He grew up alongside his two brothers, Curtis and William, and from an early age was known for his deep devotion to family. Always supportive of his siblings, Ronald carried that same family-first spirit throughout his life.
After graduating from high school, Ronald began working and quickly developed a strong appreciation for hard work. Over the years, he pursued various trades including maintenance, security, and more—always with integrity and dedication. No matter the job, he approached it with pride and a solid work ethic.
In the summer of 1974, Ronald met the love of his life, Zola Ann (Boutcher) Parker. The two were married on August 1, 1975, at the Longmont Church of Christ in Longmont, Colorado. Together, they built a beautiful life and raised three sons—Jason, Jermy, and Justin—whom he adored. Ronald cherished spending time with his boys, especially while hunting, fishing, working on hot rods, and enjoying the great outdoors.
Ronald was known as a devoted provider and a man whose family always came first. He found joy in family gatherings and was happiest when surrounded by loved ones. A friend to many, Ronald had a kind word and a warm smile for everyone he met. He was compassionate, loyal, and generous with his time and talents.
A true handyman at heart, Ronald loved fixing things—whether or not he knew exactly how. His curiosity and determination led to many successful (and some creative) repairs over the years.
In his free time, Ronald was an active member of the Twin Peaks Church of Christ, the Tri-Town Cruisers car club, and the St. Vrain Valley USBC Bowling League. These communities brought him joy, connection, and lifelong friendships.
Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Lynn Curtis Parker and Doris Louise Delmargo; his brothers, Curtis Lynn Parker and William Keith Parker; and his beloved cat, Miss Kitty.
He is survived by his forever love Zola Ann (Boutcher) Parker, his sons Jason (Christina), Jermy, and Justin (Andrea) , sisters-in-law Vickie Parker and Sandra Parker, nieces Tia Drown and Autumn Parker. His grandchildren; Makayla (Pearce), Makenzie, Marissa, Blake, Serenity, Jocelyn and Aiden. His great grandchildren; Landen, Linaya, Leon and Chloe. He is further survived by Patricia Knopka who introduced Ron and Zola, Kevin and Elaine, Uncle Jerry, Aunt Virginia, step-dad Donald C. Fry Sr., his beloved bulldog Sasha, along with many close friends and family members.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.
A funeral service will be held on October 25th, 2025, at 10:00 A.M at Twin Peaks Church of Christ 741 South Bowen Street, Longmont, Colorado. A luncheon will be held after the service.
