Rose Maxine Conner

Rose Maxine Conner, 83, of Dacono, CO passed away July 28, 2015 at Good Samaritan Medical Center in Lafayette, CO. Rose was born June 23, 1932 in Oberlin, KS to Mancel M. and Elizabeth (Hamburg) Hosier.Rose attended school in Ft. Morgan, CO. She married Richard Marshall Conner, Sr. on December 28, 1952 in Raton, NM.Rose was a homemaker and worked at Red Dale Co and Autotron. She was of the Lutheran faith and sang in the church choir for many years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Moose Lodge 1548. Rose was an avid Broncos and Rockies fan and enjoyed hunting, fishing, cooking, gardening, music, dancing, vacations, spending time with her family and living in the country.Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband, stepdaughter Barbara, 1 brother and 4 sisters.Rose is survived by her sons Richard M. Conner, Jr. (Barbara) of Dacono, CO, John K. Conner (Marcie) of Grand Junction, CO and Mark A. Conner (Rhonda) of Hillrose, CO, daughters Sandi Conner of Longmont, CO and Beverly Welk (Larry) of Arvada, CO, sister Patsy Archer (Jerry) of Firestone, CO along with 15 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be at 10:30am, Monday, August 3, 2015 with visitation 1 hour prior at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel.
