Roxie Marie O'connor

Roxie Marie O?Connor of Windsor Gardens, died April 12, 2007 in Longmont. She was 84.Roxie was born on May 31, 1922 in Bennett, Colorado to Christian Jorgensen and Mildred Ryan Jorgensen. She was raised in Bennett, graduating from high school there.She moved to Denver after finishing school, working a variety of jobs, including Woolworth?s. More importantly she raised three children independently. After her children left home, she went to work for University of Colorado Medical Center Denver, as an Administrative Assistant. A long time member of Jehovah?s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, she attended in Aurora. Surviving are her son Don O?Connor and his wife Sue of Mt. Vernon, Washington, two daughters Kathy Braesch and her husband Terry of Longmont, and Barbara Maestas of Denver, a sister Kathryn Kasel of Aurora, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.A cremation has been entrusted to the Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services.Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m., Sunday, April 15, at Jehovah?s Witnesses Kingdom Hall, with Brother Rod Kuusnen officiating.
