Sara B. Krus

Sara B. Krus, 76, of Longmont passed away March 30, 2013 at Longmont United Hospital. She was born September 26, 1936 in San Francisco, California to Blaine and Enid (Coates) Jenkins.Sara graduated from High School and had two years of Business school. Sara and family moved to Longmont in 1979 from Illinois. She was an account representative for the First national Bank of Boulder, CO until 1994, and then worked as a home health care provider until her retirement in 2008.Sara was a member of Calvary Church of Longmont, she was active in children's ministry and missions support. She was a patron of Longmont Theater Company and was also active with the Longmont Senior Center. She participated in many group activities and enjoyed people.Sara is survived by a son Bill Krus of Longmont, two daughters Denise Detwiler of Thornton, CO and Melinda Krus of Longmont, two grandchildren Steve Krus and Nicole Krus, and three great grandchildren Anna, Chelsea and Devin, and several cousins.Memorial service will be 1:30 PM Thursday April 4, 2013 at Calvary Church.
