Shane Michael Mathias

Waaazzz uppp! Shane here, giving a shout out from the pearly gates and the spirit in the sky. Sorry for checking out early on you all¦. While almost 23 years on earth may not seem like enough time for the loved ones I leave behind¦ but it was my lifetime. Lets face it, someone had to be the first one to the party. Unfortunately, an aortic dissection sent me here a little sooner than expected. Wow, quite a hit to my heart, but trust me when I say, it was fast and no one could have changed the course God had for me. Although, now that I am here, I would like to tell everyone about my journey. Let's raise a glass to my work buddies at Georgia Boys, my great friends I jammed with, and all of my peeps from the 2011 graduating class of Silver Creek High School. I want to thank all four of my parents; my mom and step-dad, Diann and Chad Rennicke, and my dad and step-mom, Bill Mathias and Toni Paul, for everything ¦ they gave me twice as much love then any son could ask for. Oh, and one last dead-leg to my sister Angie Mathias. I'm looking forward to being reunited with my mom's parents up here, Richard and Evelyn Gerlitz, and give them a warm hug. I send my love to my dad's parents, Joyce Mathias and Richard (and Donna) Mathias. I leave behind so many fun, twisted, and loving cousins, aunts, uncles, extended family and friends that I know will continue to reminisce about all the crazy faces, jokes and stunts I'd spring on them. It's a little early to say, but I hope the crowd up here likes to jam, cycle, garden, and hike. Elvis is indeed in the house and I hope to spend eternity with him throwing pottery and making fun of Imagine Dragons. Noninka, Noninka, Baby.....
