

Sharon Rebecca Salman went to her forever home with Jesus on March 7, 2020. Sharon was born in Akron Ohio in 1943, she lived her early years in West Virginia, Michigan and Florida. She graduated from Pompano Beach High School in 1961. Sharon's adult life was spent mostly in North Carolina and in 1976 she moved to Colorado.
In 1982 Sharon married Howard Salman and brought together their 8 children. With her background in care-giving and health, Sharon became an EMT in her 40's and worked with the Longmont Emergency Unit. Sharon was also a licensed CNA for many years.
In 1985- 1987 Sharon lived in Saudi Arabia with her husband Howard.
Sharon and Howard pursued their passions of travel, remodeling homes, and later owned and operated two assisted living homes in Hugo and Craig, Colorado, where they helped many seniors and their families with eldercare.
Sharon's interests included family, healthcare, cooking, gardening, and travel. Sharon loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Sharon is preceded in death by Howard, her loving husband of 37 years, and her parents John and Ruth O’Brien of Lewisburg, WV. She is survived by her sister Annie Allen; her brother Tom O’Brien (Carolyn); daughter Kim Dietz (Mike), grandson Gus Mircos (Amanda) great grandson Max/ grandsons Bryce and Cole Dietz; son Trae King(Liz), grandsons Trapper and Tyler King; daughter Karen Yaden (Allen); daughter Kathy Lovely (Torgun) granddaughter Hannah and grandson Mathias; son Lance King, grandsons Drew and Sam King.
Stepson, Chris Salman (Teresa), grandson Brandon Salman (Taylor),granddaughter Luna; granddaughter, Amanda Byars(Matt), great grandaughters Haley, Madison, and Brynlee; stepson Jeff Salman (Melanie), grandson Mateo and granddaughter Adrianna; stepdaughter Renee Manske and granddaughter Amber and grandson Derek.
There will be a memorial service this upcoming summer in West Virginia.
