Shirley A. Royer

Shirley Ann Royer (née Shurr) passed peacefully in her sleep at Longmont United Hospital on Friday, December 11th, 2015, in Longmont Colorado at the age of 74.Shirley is survived by her husband Allen Lee Royer, sister Kay Shurr, brother Lee Shurr, sons Paul and Scott Royer, daughters-in-law Carla Royer and Beth Royer, grandchildren Meaghon, Myranda, Tyler and great-grandchild Justin Jay.Shirley was a mother to many people, often devoting her time and a smile to helping others, regardless of how she knew them. She was passionate about life, hummingbirds, camping, fishing and enjoyed seeing the beauty of our world during her travels. She was a loving individual who always wanted to be outdoors, whether it was camping or tending her garden. Shirley and her husband were active members of the Family Camping and RVers group.A remembrance of life service is scheduled for Friday, December 18, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the 17th Avenue Place Event Center (478 17th Ave, Longmont, Colorado 80501).
