Shirley Ann Stroh beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully with family beside her on May 17th, 2021 in Longmont Colorado. Shirley was born on September 11, 1939 in Brighton, Colorado to the late Balthser and Catherine Hepp.
Shirley grew up and attended school in Mead, Colorado, where she graduated from high school in 1957. A few years later she met and married Dwayne Stroh in February of 1960. They worked a farm in the north Longmont area and raised two children, Tim Stroh and Lynda (Stroh) Smith.
While on the farm, Shirley was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, canning, crochet, and helping in the fields. In 1972, the family moved into Longmont and Shirley took on other occupations such as a kitchen aide at Longs Peak Junior High School, and then bookkeeping at First National Bank of Longmont.
When husband Dwayne was diagnosed with MS, Shirley left her employment at the bank to care for him at their home. Shirley treasured her grandchildren, great grandchildren, the Rockies, and the Broncos! She rarely missed watching a game on television.
Shirley is survived by her son Tim (Kelly) Stroh, daughter Lynda (Don) Smith, and her beloved grandchildren Josh (Kylie) Stroh, Heather (Chris) Hurd, Desirae Stroh, Justin (Brianna) Smith, Tia (Brian) Nowicki, great grandchildren Shelby Smith and Daniel Samora, Vann Stroh and Marley Smith, siblings including Robert, Donald (Nonie), Tommy, and Larry Hepp as well as many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends.
