

Stamer Clarence Geminden, Jr., of Longmont, Colorado, passed away peacefully at UCHealth University Hospital Anschutz on December 28, 2018, at the age of 49, following a sudden illness that kept him from receiving a second liver transplant.Stamer was born in Longmont, Colorado, to Stamer and Donna (Wofford) Geminden on April 14, 1969. He graduated from Niwot High School in 1987, attending Front Range Community College while in high school.Following in his father's footsteps from an early age, Stamer loved all things computer. Dubbed Stamer Little as a youngster, he often could be found roaming the halls of Ball Aerospace with Stamer Sr., a Ball engineer. He later became a computer tech at Ball assigned to the Hubble Space Telescope project from 1990-2000. He worked as a computer systems technologist for companies in the Longmont area including Network Photonics, Copan, Linerate and most recently, F5. Stamer loved sharing his computer expertise, often repairing family and friends' equipment just for the learning experience. When not in front of the computer, he loved getting away to jeep through the mountains of Colorado with his nieces, nephews and other family and friends.Stamer is preceded in death by his mother, Donna Mae Geminden, and his nephew, Joshua Doyle Stevens.Stamer is survived by his father, Stamer Geminden, sisters Kathy (Lonnie) Stevens of Berthoud, Honnan Geminden of Longmont, and Stacy (Mario) Latini of Longmont; nieces and nephews Jennifer (Jared) G cke of Mead, Colorado; Julie (Russell) Beydler of Redwater, Texas; Jared (Becky) Stevens of Colorado Springs, Colorado; Amanda (Tony) Unruh of Enid, Oklahoma; Russell Geminden of Alamosa, Colorado; Ryan (Jen) Latini of Seattle, Washington; and Christen (Jonathan) Cyprowski of Loveland, Colorado. He will be missed by his grand-nieces and nephews Mason Simms and Ashtyn G cke; Ethan, Archer and Georgia Beydler; Michael Stevens; Elara and Tucker Unruh; and Cora Latini.Cremation has been entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. A memorial will be planned for Spring 2019.Stamer had always hoped to help someone else by being a registered organ donor. Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank will be giving the gift of sight to someone through the donation of his corneas. UCHealth University Hospital, a teaching hospital, was able to further the education of its students through his donation of his body.
