She is lovingly survived by her son, Stanley William Washburn; her cherished grandson, Cayden Lamar Washburn, and his mother, Kaitlin Wheeler. Tammy is also survived by her sisters: Staci Kimball Smith and her son, Thomas Riley; Crystal Colley and her daughters, Chelse, Jailyn, and Haley; and Lindsay Davis and her son, Robin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robin Lamar Davis and Teresa Moore Kimball, as well as her beloved partner, Nick Autrey.
Tammy will be remembered for her generous spirit, deep love for animals—especially dogs—and her unwavering support for the North Carolina Tar Heels. Her affection for her friends and family was boundless, and she brought warmth and joy to those around her. She found great happiness in music, dancing, and spending time with loved ones. Among her favorite pastimes were fishing off the pier at Kure Beach, North Carolina, and enjoying the beauty of snowy days in Colorado.
Tammy’s light will continue to shine in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
