

Ann was born on March 8, 1937 in Danville, Virginia to Vivian Sanford Dameron and Geneva Virginia Marshall Dameron. She joined the U.S. Navy following her high school graduation, serving as a dental technician.
Ann married Richard Smoot on October 6, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland. He preceded her in death. She married David “Bart” Bartholomew on November 11, 2013 in Dallas, Texas.
Ann and Dick moved to Longmont in 1971. They moved to Meeker, Colorado briefly before returning to Longmont. She was affiliated with the 1st National Bank for many years, serving in many roles.
Ann loved to dance and always carried a pair of ballet shoes with her when she was younger, just in case the opportunity arose. She was a voracious reader devouring all sorts of reading material especially anything to do with history. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards and looked forward to her lunches with the “girls” from work.
Preceding her in death are her husband, parents and two brothers Vivian Dameron and Lee Morgan.
Surviving are her husband Bart of Plano, Texas; daughter Debbie (Ken) Stamp of Longmont; sons Dan (Doris) Smoot of Rock Springs, Wyoming and Richard (Debbie) Smoot, Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina; a sister Eunice (Don) Alexander of Perry Hall, Maryland; seven grandchildren Brett (Telsa) Smoot, Stacey (Zach) Musick, Laurie (Zach) Pershin, Justin Smoot and Erin and Mitchell Stamp; and a great granddaughter Breckyn Smoot.
A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., Thursday, April 6 at the Howe Mortuary Community Room. A service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, April 7 at the Howe Mortuary Chapel. A cremation will follow services.
