Theron "TJ" Alan Jackson passed peacefully from this earth to be with his Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 20, ending his struggle with the toll diabetes had taken on his earthly body. He was born on August 17, 1963 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Marilyn and Harvey Jackson. He lived in Nebraska until the family moved to Boulder, Colorado in 1965. He attended elementary school in Boulder until the family relocated to Longmont, Colorado in 1973. He attended Burlington Elementary, Longmont, Jr. High and graduated from Niwot High School in 1981. He attended Boulder Vo Tech and got his first job at Rocky Flats as a draftsman.
He met the love of his life, Brenda LeAnn Johnson and they were married April 4, 1987 in North Platte, Nebraska. They then resided in Longmont, Colorado.
He was employed by Micro Motion, Seagate and contract jobs in Arizona, Indiana and North Carolina during his lifetime. He was a son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He loved to fish, hunt, boat, and especially loved the family trips to Lake Powell. He loved his puppies, Annie & Bella; and his German short hair dogs, Nala, Daisy & Lily, greeting him in heaven.
He attended First Lutheran Church and Faith Community Lutheran church and is of the Lutheran Faith.
He battled his diabetes to the end and when it seemed impossible how an earthly vessel could survive what he endured, he always had a reason to persevere and his last was for his grandson, Hunter Alan Jackson and the Lord granted him enough time to enjoy him.
He leaves behind his wife, Brenda Jackson; his daughter Kaylee Ann Dietz (Travis Dietz); his son, Austin Alan Jackson (Becca); and his first grandchild, Hunter Alan Jackson; his parents, Harvey & Marilyn Jackson; brothers, Troy Jackson (Laurie) and Todd Jackson (Erin); brother-in-law, Mitch Johnson (Dana); father-in-law (Gene Johnson); several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends that he dearly loved.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, mother-in-law, Marcy Johnson, Aunt Jeri Klein, and beloved cousins.
