Verl was born December 4, 1920 in Humphries, MO the son of William Carl and Edna (Scott) Snapp. He lived his young life around the Longmont/Boulder area. He farmed and worked for Boulder County. He bought a farm in Olathe, CO in 1969.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Helen Hornbaker and grandson Trey Wagner.
He is survived by son Charles (Joyce) Snapp, daughters Ann (Clay) Wagner, Trudy (Jim) Hogan and 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
