

Vinson Carlos Macias entered into rest on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the age of 55. Born on August 15, 1970, Vinson was a generous, humorous, selfless, loyal, and kind-hearted individual who left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.
Born in Longmont, Colorado, Vinson enjoyed a wonderful childhood filled with the love and care of his mother, Maria Varela. He cherished the time spent with his cousins and attended Frederick Elementary, Middle, and High School.
Vinson was truly a Jack of All Trades, excelling in various endeavors throughout his career. His resourcefulness and skill were admired by many.
As a father, Vinson was nothing short of amazing. He was devoted to his children, Lynette, Deanette, and Angelo, ensuring they always had what they needed and more. His dedication extended to his mother, Maria, whom he took great care of.
In his free time, Vinson enjoyed watching Broncos and Nuggets games, savoring cold beers, and spending quality time with friends and family. He delighted in gambling with his mom and building things, often with his mini, Angelo, by his side. His love for rock music, especially bands like Metallica and Godsmack, was well-known.
Vinson was known for his humor and ability to bring joy to those around him. He was the life of the party, always throwing the best birthday celebrations and ensuring there was never a serious moment in his presence.
Everything about Vinson will be missed. His children and mother were his world, and he loved being surrounded by his cousins and friends. With Vinson, there was never a dull moment, and his legacy of laughter and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
Vinson was preceded in death by his many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Vinson is survived by his mother, Maria T. Varela; children, Lynette (Kyle) Vialpando, Deanette (Jacob) Brunscheen, and Angelo Macias; grandchildren, Cyrus Loya, Tatum Loya, Jackson Comer, Ziggy Comer, and Zachary Brunscheen.
Cremation is entrusted to Howe Mortuary of Longmont, Colorado.
