

Virginia Louise Brozovich passed away December 15, 2014 at the Bridge Assisted Living at the age of 82.She was born October 11, 1932 in Evanston, Illinois to John and Tora (Johansson) Lind. Virginia moved to Denver, Colorado at the age of 4 with her mother, living there until the eighth grade when the family moved to Broomfield.On August 31, 1951 she married Nicholas Brozovich in Welby, CO. They made their home on a farm between Brighton and Fort Lupton, CO until moving to Frederick in 1967. Virginia was a homemaker, loving mother and farm wife; often driving trucks during harvest and helping out with chores.Virginia was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church and active there in many activities including First Lutheran Women.She enjoyed traveling anywhere and everywhere, making three trips to Sweden and in recent years spending winters in Yuma, Arizona.She was preceded in death by her mother and stepfather Tora and Andrew Nordstrom, and husband Nicholas on December 27, 1992.Virginia is survived by two daughters Nancy Hancock (Cliff) of Frederick, Karen Besser of Longmont, son James Brozovich (Debra) of Eufaula, Oklahoma, 6 grandchildren Jennifer Jones, Jessica McGrath, JoAnna Brozovich, Philip Hancock, Melissa Besser and Brian Hancock, and 4 great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Megan and Makayla.Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00pm Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. The family will be present to greet friends. Funeral services will be at 10:30am Thursday December 18, 2014 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Interment at Foothills Gardens of Memory.
