Wes Spengler

Wes Spengler passed away August 16, 2018 at McKee medical Center in Loveland. He was 61.Wes was born on April 8, 1957 in Winfield, KS to Dow and Patricia (Crandall) Spengler. He was raised in Winfield before moving to Colorado in 1970 and settling in Longmont where he graduated from Longmont High School in 1975.Wes married Sherri Schildknecht Morgan on July 4, 1990 in Fort Collins, CO. Wes worked for many years in the water and wastewater departments with the City of Longmont before joining Lefthand Water as a locator until his retirement in 2016.He was a member of LifeBridge Christian Church and the National Rifle Association. Wes enjoyed hunting, fishing and traveling, spending time with his grandson Cody, and Wes loved life. He enjoyed every day, and lived life with so much humor, laughter, and love.Wes was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.He is survived by his wife Sherri; his children Holly Morgan, Dustin Spengler, April Miller, Ashley Lara; his siblings Rick Spengler, Jullie (Brian) Loper, Dawn Spengler and Melissa Spengler; his grandchildren Cody, Anthony, Angelo, Alex, Xavier and Izabella, his Uncle Milton Spengler, numerous nieces and nephews and his dog Jaws. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday August 22, 2018 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel. Cremation entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
