

Billie was born June 1, 1923 in San Jose, California, the daughter of Avolt G. and Olga (Breitenfeldt) Rossow. In 1944 she married Arvin Clay Mobley in Garden City, KS. They became the proud parents of two sons and one daughter, moving to Longmont in 1963. They were later divorced.
Billie married Don Loomiller on November 5, 1965 in Longmont, CO and they spent 46 years together. She gave 47 years active service to the American Legion/Auxiliary, Unit #32, serving as Department Chaplain, 2nd Vice President, 1st Vice President and Department President. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church and enjoyed playing bridge and cribbage.
Survivors include her husband Don Loomiller of Longmont, her sons David (Kerry) Mobley of Longmont and Jim Mobley of Omaha, NE, her daughter Mary Mobley-Corbat of Longmont and her stepchildren Craig Loomiller of Oklahoma and Cynthia Sandifer of Indiana. She is further survived by her sisters Alice Fernandez of Glendale, AZ and Lorna Otto of Green Lake, WI and seven grandchildren: Shawn Mobley, Martin Mobley, Andrew Mobley, Cara Corbat, Brianna Corbat, Gillian Mobley and Caitlin Mobley. Five great grandchildren also survive her: David James Mobley, Finnian Mobley, Jayden Trujillo, Shawn Mobley, Jr. and Evelyn Mobley.
Her parents, two sisters and her former husband preceded her in death.
Cremation has been entrusted to Howe Mortuary and Cremation Services.
Memorial services will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, Longmont. Inurnment will be held in Wisconsin at a later date. A reception will be held at the American Legion, Post #32 on Friday, November 11 starting at 12:00 noon.
