Angela Johnson

With a heart full of light and laughter, Angela Johnson left this world too soon, at the age of 60. She was a spirit of boundless energy, warm, welcoming, and kind. A friend to all, she never met a stranger. Her love for family ran deep, and her presence made even ordinary days feel extraordinary.

Angela had a soft spot for animals, welcoming many into her life over the years. She loved to dance, to laugh, to sit and talk for hours with those she cared about. Music was her rhythm, and the beach was her peace. She was a devoted UK Wildcats fan, cheering every game, and she loved to watch football as well.

She missed her mother deeply, carrying her love like a quiet prayer each day.

Angela was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Brenda Darlene Higgs, and father, Joseph Anthony Johnson Sr.

She is survived by those who carry her light forward:

her son Dylan Bradford, her brother Joseph (Indira) Johnson, her nephew Garron (Ariah) Johnson, great-nephew Orion James Johnson, niece Breena James Johnson, stepfather James Higgs, and a family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and cherished friends whose hearts are forever touched by her love.

Let us remember Angela with laughter, music, and kindness, just as she lived.

A memorial service for Angela will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272.
