She is survived by her husband of 61 years, George David Caplinger, Sr.; three children, George David Caplinger, Jr (Bonnie), William Robert Caplinger, and Vickie Caplinger McCullough; a sister, Carolyn Mattingly Bramschreiber; four grandchildren, Joshua, Stephanie (PJ), Jared, and Evan; and one great-grandchild, Laila.
Visitation will be from 1-8 pm Tuesday at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home with the funeral at 12:00 Wednesday, followed by burial at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Memorial gifts may be made to the Kentucky School for the Blind Charitable Foundation.
