He was a chemical operator for Rohm & Haas, Army veteran of the Vietnam Era, member of Ashby Lane Baptist Church, South Dixie Firefighters, firefighter for Rohm Haas and a sergeant for the Jefferson Co. Sheriff Department reserve Survivors include his wife, Charlotte; daughter, Georgianna Faircloth (David); son, Anthony Lyons Tucker Jr.; two sisters, Linda Lucas (Bobby) and Angie Hall (Emmett); two brothers, Roy Tucker (Vickie) and Dennie Tucker (Doris); eight grandchildren, Jeffrey (Keri), Cynthia, Austin, Jasmyn, Troy, Jakub, Kortney and Kaitlyn; and two great-grandchildren, Caleb and Mason.
Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at W.G. Hardy Funeral Home with burial in Madrid Cemetery in Breckinridge County. Visitation is Tuesday, 2-8 p.m.
