Billy was a US Army Veteran who served from 1955 - 1975. He is a long time resident of Valley Station, and retired from Cardinal Carrier after many years. He cherished time spent with family and friends, enjoyed traveling, especially trips driving out West, and always had a love for classic muscle cars. Of all the roles he held, Husband and Father were his greatest honor.
He is preceded in death by his parents; loving wife of 45 years, Judy Kathryn Lofink; and siblings, Marie Mahaffey, Inez Flannigan, Lois Bivens, Dorothy Miller, and Charles Lofink.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Joanna Roberts (Ray); wife of 11 years, Ruby Gilbert; sister-in-law, Betty Cunningham (Skip); and many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 9, 2024 from 11am - 1pm at Advantage Funeral Home - Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272. Service will be at 1pm with a burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
