March 10, 1968 – December 4, 2025
Daniel "Danny" Gene Goff, 57, of Louisville, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Norton Hospital. Danny was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend whose presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A passionate fan of the Kentucky Wildcats and Pittsburgh Steelers, Danny found joy in sports and loved sharing that enthusiasm with those closest to him. He enjoyed quality time with his family, whether it was playing poker with loved ones, swimming with his grandkids, or having nightly couch conversations with his "sweet pea" McKaylee. Danny also cherished watching his grandsons, Draeke and Bryson, play basketball and football, and looked forward to his daily FaceTime calls from his granddaughter Kinsley.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Gary Goff; cousin, John Baker II; and nephew, Brandon Royse. Danny is survived by his wife, Debbie, of 31 years; his mother, Ruth; children Dreama (Mike), Annie, Ambra (Wes), and Adam (Kayla); and his adored grandchildren McKaylee, Draeke, Bryson, Kinsley, Michael, and Easton. He is also survived by his best friends, Chris Simpson and Bob Hunchman.
Danny’s visitation will be on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Advantage Funeral Home, Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Hwy., from 3 PM to 8 PM. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the funeral home, with cremation to follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Community Catholic Center and the Chromosome 18 Registry and Research Society, both causes that were dear to Danny’s heart.
