He was preceded in death by his father, Wayne and his sister, Micki. He is survived by his wife, Dawn, daughter Megan (Matt Bracken), son Luke and granddaughters Makenzie and Wesley. He is also survived by his mother, Carol and sister Paula (Jim), nephews Allen and J.C., nieces Amanda and Janessa, and great nephews Jordon and A.J.. David served various churches in the Kentucky United Methodist Conference in the area of youth ministry, (St. Andrews UMC, First Methodist Lexington UMC, and Southern Hills UMV), the full-time pastorate (Bethany and PRP UMC, Louisville), and as Associate Director of Connectional Ministries w/ Young People. Visitation will be held at Bethany UMC 6100 Moorman(Louisville), Friday, January 9 from 4-7 p.m. and Saturday January 10 from 10 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. at Southern Hills UMC with a Memorial Service to follow at 2 p.m..
