Dennis Hoover

Dennis was an avid University of Kentucky sports fan. He cherished spending time with his family and enjoyed many hobbies, including thrifting, cracking jokes, and admiring trucks. A lover of the outdoors, Dennis also enjoyed camping trips. His fondness for country music was evident, especially when he would relax with a cup of coffee, watching Country Music Television.

In addition to his parents, Dennis is preceded in death by his wife, Susan Hoover; his son, Matthew Johnson; and his brother, Hallie Hoover Jr. He is survived by his longtime love, Amanda Keck, and her daughters, Gracie, Destiny, and Whitney, whom he loved as his own. Dennis is also survived by his sisters, Sherry Autry and April Faughender; his nieces, Rachel (Devin) Richardson and Amanda Hoover; his great-nephew, Jackson; and his beloved dogs.

Dennis will be dearly missed for his warmth, humor, and the love he shared with those around him.

A visitation for Dennis will be held Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10907 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272, followed by a celebration of life from 1:00 PM.
