She was a member and was active with St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and volunteered to be a member of the bereavement committee.
She is survived by her Son, Joseph A. Mills Jr. (Wendy); Daughter, Debbie Shoemaker (Merl); Granddaughter, Brooke Marie Shoemaker; Great Grandchildren, Bailey Joe Marie and EriAnna Lin Renea; Sisters, Shirley Garner, Nora Posasta, and Mary Brown; Extended family, Debbie Gruner, Linda Judd, Tommy Edelen, and Barbara Edelen.
Her funeral service will be held 10 am Monday at the Heady-Hardy funeral home, 7710 Dixie Hwy. Entombment will follow in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Sunday from 12-8 pm.
