

Georgia Ann (Buckler) Wyatt
89, of Louisville, passed away March 17, 2017.
She was born September 18, 1927 in Louisville, the daughter of Charles and Mary Jo Buckler. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George Chester Wyatt, three sisters, Mary Jane Teague, Helen Ruth Smiley, Thelma Marie Roehrig; and two brothers, Charles Alphonsus Buckler, Jr., and John Warren Buckler.
Georgia graduated from Valley High School circa 1945, and worked for a period of time at Wayne Supply. She married in 1950, became a homemaker, and attended Bethany United Methodist Church. He interests included gardening, sewing, and reading, and she was a devoted mother to her three children.
Survivors include her two sons, Kerry Lynn Wyatt of Bowling Green and George Brian Wyatt (Cindy) of Simpsonville; daughter, Malinda Collier (George) of Richmond, Virginia; grandchildren, Aubrey Wyatt, Jennifer Woeste, and Diane Rector (J.R.); and great-grandchildren, Liam Wyatt, Julia and Shelby Woeste, and Wyatt Rector; and two sisters, Sue Reiss, and Cecelia Thompson, both of Louisville.
Funeral services for Georgia will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at advantage Funeral and Cremation Services Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Hwy. Louisville, KY 40272.
Friends and family may call from 4-8 PM on Monday, March 20, 2017, at the funeral home, as well one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be given to the Episcopal Church Home of Louisville. And the family would like to extend a special thanks to Episcopal, their staff, and to Dr. Cornett for all the care they provided to Georgia.
