He was a member of Okolona Baptist Church, United States Marine veteran, and retired from International Harvester.
He was preceded in death by his wife Mattie P. Jackson.
Survivors include his children Joe L. Jackson (Cathy), Paul Jackson, Betty Hines (Jim), and David Jackson (Chris); sister Betty Lou Cashdollar (Kenny); sister-in-law Linda Jackson; five grandchildren Shannon, Aaron, Shelbye, Amber, and Mattye; three great-grandchildren Seth, Lincoln, and Natalie.
His funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. Monday at Okolona Baptist Church, 9301 Preston Hwy. Burial Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation Sunday 2-8 P.M. at Arch L. Heady & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Okolona and on Monday 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church.
