James entered into rest on April 27, 2025. After living a very prosperous life, he will join his loving wife Carolyn Lay and 2 sons and a daughter. While leaving 2 sons and daughters behind. He had 7 children in total and 21 grandchildren along with 50 great grandchildren. He was a stubborn man and a very good provider for his family after working at Louisville cemeteries for several years.
The ones you have left here will never forget you. Now it's time to go be with your wife once again. We love you Paw-Paw.
Visitation will occur at 2:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home located at 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY. 40272 on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. A funeral will be held Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the same location. Burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
