James McKee

He was born on 4 April 1964 in San Francisco, California, raised in American Canyon, California. He graduated from Vintage High in Napa, California in June 1982. He attended Napa Valley College with Associates Degree in Psychology, he obtained a Psychiatric Technicians License for the state of California and was employed at Napa State Hospital in the late 1980’s.

He a member of the First Baptist Church of Vallejo, California.

In 1989 he went into United States Army, he attended basic training at Ft. Lenard Wood, Missouri, he was station with the 10th Mountain Division, Ft. Drum, New York. He was a 63S-Heavy Wheel Vehicle Mechanic. He was in Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

He preceded in death by his parents, Martin E. & A. Virginia McKee; his brother, Martin E. McKee Jr.; and his son, Eric S. McKee.

He is survived by his granddaughter Faith McKee of Metamora, MI, his sisters Carolyn Johnson of Omaha, NE and Morgan L. Rogers of Napa, CA and his brothers Joseph A. McKee of Tacoma, WA and James E. Nell Sr. of Portola Valley, CA. and the nephews and nieces and extended family.

He will be inurned in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery - Central, 2501 N. Dixie Highway, in Radcliff, KY on Friday, July 5, 2024 at 12:30pm.
