She was a retired custodian for the Jefferson County Board of Education.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Madden.
Survivors include her daughter, Debra Auberry; sons, Terry Carby and Ronald Otis Madden; brother, Junior Dowell; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Her service will be held on Friday at noon at the W. G. Hardy Funeral Home and Cremation Service with burial in Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
