Katherine Elaine Rogers

Katherine of Bardstown, Kentucky, passed away surrounded by loved ones. Katherine was a woman who cherished family, the outdoors, and life’s simple joys. She loved spending time with her family, relaxing on her sister’s back deck, playing BINGO, listening to music, camping, and watching NASCAR.

Katherine is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bruce Rogers; her granddaughter, Stacy Jo Rogers; her parents, Cecil and Ruth Turner; and her brothers, Cecil and Robert Turner.

She is survived by her children, Bruce Rogers and Anna May; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sisters, Donna Sullivan, Deborah Logsdon, and Rebecca Cox; her brother, Charles Turner; her dear friend, Kathy; and many cherished friends from the brotherhood.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home, 10907 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY.

Her funeral will take place on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 1:00 PM at the same location, followed by burial at Bethany Memorial Cemetery. Pastor Jerry Bird from Faith Missionary Baptist Church will be officiating.
