Larry was a member of the CloverLeaf Baptist church and a retired sheet metal worker of union #110. He was also a Kentucky Colonel.
He was met at the gates of heaven by his parents, Coy and Dovie; daughter, Dawn Renee, and 7 brothers and sisters.
Larry leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years Linda; children, Tammi Poole (Kerry), and Kenneth Neal; grandchildren, Hayli Potts, Tanner Potts Kerrylyn Poole, Ashlyn Poole, Keiren Poole, Courtney Hornback, Bradley Hornback; brother, Gene Hornback; sisters, Joyce Lewis, Brenda Fields, and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be on Tuesday at 12:00pm at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Highway, with interment following in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Monday from 2:00pm until 8:00pm.
In lieu of flowers the family wishes that all donations be made to the CloverLeaf Youth group.
