Lucy Davenport

Lucy Marie Davenport, age 93, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2025. She was a devout Christian; loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She spent many years of her life as a nursing assistant. Her passion for caring for others was evident throughout her life and the lives she touched.

She is survived by her sister Sue Newton; her children Lois Pace, Joanna (Brian) Pedigo, Mary Burkhammer, James (Joy) House, and Betty Hall (Brian Barker); along with the several grandchildren and great grandchildren she was blessed with.

She was welcomed into heaven by her parents, Ada and Wiley Bannard Woodcock; husbands Joseph "Joe" House and James "Jim" Davenport; and children Linda "Sue" House and Joseph "Joe" House Jr.

Visitation for Lucy will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home Hardy Chapel, 10907 Dixie Hwy . Her funeral service will Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at Woodcock Cemetery Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 10 am (CST) 7468 Love Lee Road Morgantown KY 42261
