Born and raised in Mannheim Germany. She was a true victim of WW2, suffering several injuries and home displacements because of the war.
After the war she met and married an American soldier named Frederic Allan Butterworth, she made her home in America and became a beloved U.S. citizen. They had no children and no living relatives. She is survived by a good friend, Jim Pitchford; Nephew, Dave Butterworth; Niece, Nanette Butterworth - Stesch.
She dedicated her life as a teacher and she loved children. She also worked timelessly for various groups which benefited our society.

Visitation will be at Advantage Funeral Home – Hardy Chapel on Dixie Highway on Monday, February 5, 2024 from 3:00PM to 8:00PM with a funeral service on Tuesday February 6, 2023 at 11:00AM with burial to follow in Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
