Robert had a great love for his family and friends. He enjoyed being in nature and spending time camping, fishing, being outdoors.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee and Josephine Drake; his sisters, Betty Jean King, Nancy Lee Brown, and Patty Gennette Drake; and his brother, Richard Joe Drake.
He is survived by his sister, Connie Frances McCarty (Robert W. McCarty); his nephews, Stephan Ray McCarty and Kevin Ray King; his niece, Kareene Renee King; and his cousin and longtime friend, Norman Drake (Barbara).
A visitation for Robert will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Advantage Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 10907 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, Kentucky 40272. A funeral will occur after visitation with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272.
