Stephen Ray Geist

He is survived by his beloved wife, Anne (Bayerle) Geist; and his cherished sons and their wives, Steve Geist (Shannon) and Jason Geist (Shannon F.).

Steve was an incredible grandfather to Sarena Geist, Kaelyn Douglas, Connor Geist, Olivia Geist and Ford Geist. Being with his family brought Steve the most joy in life. He is survived by his siblings, Tom Geist, Sharon Wade (Al), Jill Davis (Mike), and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his siblings Cyndi Tschida and Rick Geist (Donna). Steve touched many lives throughout his life, more than he realized, and will be greatly missed.

Visitation and funeral services will take place at Heady-Hardy Funeral Home, 7710 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40258. Family visitation is scheduled for Friday, August 22, from 2:00 to 3:00pm, with general visitation following from 3:00 to 8:00pm. The funeral service will be held at Heady-Hardy on Saturday, August 23, at 10:00am. A graveside service will immediately follow at Bethany Cemetery, 10917 Dixie Hwy, Valley Station, KY 40272.
