She retired from Frito Lay after 43 years of proud service.
Sylvia was met at the gates of heaven by her loving husband, James Mitchell Sr.; parents, Victor White., Ethel Townsend, Iva LaRue; brothers, James White and William White.
She is survived by her son, James Mitchell Jr; grandchildren, Zackery Mitchell (Rebekah) and Kasey Lightle (Bradley).
Sylvia also leaves her 4 great-grandchildren and many family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00pm at Advantage Funeral Home with burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery. A visitation will be on Monday from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the funeral home.
