Thomas served as a medic in the Korean War. He retired from Kentucky Transportation Cabinet and was known to be a simple but eccentric man. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He liked to spend time gambling on the boats and often donated to many charities throughout his retirement.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife of 35 years, Ellen Carrico; and brother, Bill Carrico.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Deven Clark (Jon); son, Clayton Carrico; nieces, Sabrina, Natalie; and a host of friends that will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 10am – 1pm at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services, 10907 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272. Funeral Service will be at 1pm with a burial to follow at Bethany Cemetery.
