Wanda Feye Puckett, 90, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. She had a deep love for caring for foster children and spent many years as an advocate for them. Wanda also worked at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, where she made a lasting impact on the community.
A devout member of the Church of God, Wanda was known for her strong faith and regular attendance at church. She cherished her relationship with her Lord and found great strength in her church family.
Wanda was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Puckett; her son, Woodford Ray; and her parents, Mike and Lou Curtis; and her sibling, Tracy Smith. She is survived by her son, Jackie (Joan) Sparks; her brother, Raymond Puckett; her sister, Fran Puckett; and seven grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Essex Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their excellent care during Wanda’s final days.
A private burial will take place.
