Billie Jeanne Kizer Crager

Services for Billie Jeanne Kizer Crager, 85, of Lufkin, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2016 in the Elwyn M. Gipson Memorial Chapel in Garden of Memories Memorial Park with Eulogy by Esther Barger. Inurnment will follow in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park.

Mrs. Crager was born September 27, 1931 in Burke, Texas, the daughter of the late Eugenia (McCarty) and Fred R. Kizer. She passed away Friday, November 25, 2016 in a local hospital.

She enjoyed flowers and was an avid reader. Family was most important to her. She never missed anyone’s birthday.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Esther Barger and Bob of Diboll and Elaine Harrison and Ralph Godwin of Marietta, Georgia; son, Lance Crager of Lufkin; grandson, Christian Barger and wife Tracy of Kingwood; granddaughter, Robin Richardson and husband Michael of McKinney; grandson, David Harrison of San Antonio; grandson, Brian Crager and wife Lamis of Seattle, Washington; grandson, Bradley Crager and wife Krystal of New London, Connecticut; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Wilma Rector of Lufkin; and nephew, Freddy Rector of Loveland, Colorado.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Crager was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Douglas Crager; and grandson, Dustin Harrison of San Antonio.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Heart Association, 1125 Judson Road #150, Longview, TX 75601.
