Bobbie King Orsack

Born July 4, 1955, in Houston to George and Virginia King. She grew up in Houston and met her husband Ray there in 1971. They married on June 16, 1973, and spent the next 52 years by each other’s side. They spent the early years of their marriage being foster parents to numerous children in Harris County. Her greatest accomplishment was being a mom to her four children and the countless foster children. Her home was always open to anyone in need. After moving to Rusk in 1986, she decided to become a nurse and took care of people for over 25 years. She was a member of the Rusk Church of Christ for 38 years.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her parents, George and Virginia King; her brother, Eddie King; and her sister, Betty Delong.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Orsack of Rusk; son, Brandon Orsack and wife, Melissa, of Bullard; daughter, Heather Jones and husband, JJ, of Rusk; daughter, Jenny Orsack of Lindale; daughter, Trisha Germany and husband, Timmy, of Rusk; grandchildren, Destiny Smith and husband, Colton, of Olton; Tatum Wiggins and husband, Jason, of Dickinson; Logan Orsack and wife, Addison, of Clarksville, TN; Katy Wilcox of Bullard; Ally Wilcox of Bullard; Baylee Germany and Mason Morris of Rusk; Kaden Jones of Rusk; Nick Orsack of Bullard; Hadlee Jones of Rusk; Raylon Germany of Rusk; Holden Germany of Rusk; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews, Donnie Delong and wife Kim and their children Amber and Ashley, "Kimmie" Delong and children Matt and Ayana, Ayriela Perez and husband Jose, Lisa Jones, and Angelina Billingsly.

A celebration of Bobbie's life will be held at the Rusk Church of Christ on February 15, 2025, at 1 p.m.
