Bobby Lynn lived in Baytown for most of his life, but lived in Devers for the last 20 years. He graduated from Robert E. Lee High School with the Class of ’55. Following that, he joined the United States Navy and proudly served his country. After leaving the Navy, he had many jobs in construction when he was younger. He then worked for a linen company and travelled to different town, which he really enjoyed. His last job was building and owning a night club, City Lites. He owned the club for many years and dearly loved it. He then sold it and moved to the country in Devers.
Bobby Lynn had a great sense of humor. No matter where he went, he would always see someone he knew or went to school with years ago. When he was young, he loved baseball. He could have been a pro baseball player, but didn’t want to leave home. He enjoyed playing cards, watching sports, and going fishing. Four words that he loved to hear: “IT’S TIME TO EAT!”
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Michele Nichols; children, Allan Reynolds and wife Sherry, Teresa Haney, and Julie Reynolds; stepson, Eli Nichols and wife Nicole; grandchildren, Chris, Brandon and Tyler Reynolds, Joey and Cody Cooling, Jimmy, Tommy and Rachel Krawetz, Jerry and Timothy Haney and Kaleb Hand; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Peggy Griffin; brothers, Clifton Reynolds, Dennis Wayne Reynolds, and Randy Capps and wife Luanna; too many friends to list; and his pets, his dogs Dolly and Abbey and donkeys Amos and Andy.
THREE WORDS HE SAID A LOT: “SEE YA LATER!”
Bobby Lynn’s family wishes to extend special thanks to Liberty Nursing Home and the V. A. Hospital for the loving care shown to him.
