Charles H. Loving

A retired ceramic tile setter and a faithful Baptist, Charles was married to his beloved wife Patricia for 50 years. Charles was born and raised in Lufkin, where he graduated from Lufkin schools, before moving to Shreveport in 2004.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Loving; his sons, Doug Loving and wife Robin of Crosby, TX, and Jason Loving and Amanda of Friendswood, TX. He cherished his grandsons Austin and Liz of Shreveport, LA, Mason and wife KayKay of Pineland, TX, Colt of Friendswood, TX, and Chandler of Crosby, TX; his granddaughters Addison and Emily of Crosby, TX, and Addison of Friendswood, TX; and his great-grandchild Wade of Shreveport, LA.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles "Catfish" and Ada Bell Loving, his son Michael Loving, and brothers Gary and Louis.

Visitation will be held at Gipson Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 10 AM, followed by funeral services at 11 AM. He will be laid to rest in Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Lufkin.
