Debbie Burkett Jones

Debbie was born on January 7, 1958 in Houston, Texas to parents, Clayton Gwendell and Lynn Burkett. She passed away at her residence on November 8, 2018. Debbie graduated as Valedictorian of her class from Lufkin High School. She turned her love of pets into a career working for City of Lufkin Animal Services and volunteered as the rescue coordinator.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Dale and Susie Burkett of Huntington; nieces, Cherie Burkett of Ft. Worth and Sondra Kibbey of Huntington; aunts, Sue Hinson, Joy Gibson, and Rachel Addison; eight grand-nieces and nephews; along with numerous other relatives and friends. Debbie is preceded in death by both of her parents.
