Ervin Clifford DuBose

Services for Ervin C. DuBose, 88, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2016 in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Rick Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery.

Ervin C. DuBose, of the Beulah Community, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at his home. He was born in the Beulah Community on December 10, 1927.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Lorraine Black DuBose; 5 sons and their families including 13 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; several in-laws; and many other family and friends.

Oldest son Davy DuBose and wife Jody of Willis have 4 children, Clint DuBose and wife Maria and their children Caleb, Celeste, and Cole, Matt DuBose, Josh DuBose and wife Gwendolyn and their children Blake and Sam, and Erin Newman and husband Kevin and their daughter Kinley.

Son Stephen DuBose and wife Kristi of Overton have 2 children Amy Morgan and husband Sam and their children Henry and Sawyer and Adam DuBose and his wife Brooke and their daughter Faith.

Son Mark DuBose and wife Connie of Lufkin have 2 children, Madeline Johnson and her husband Jordan and Jennifer DuBose.

Son Clay DuBose and wife Emily of the Beulah Community and their children Anna and Rachel DuBose.

Son Dan DuBose of Beulah and daughters Meagan Chandler and her husband Jeremy and children, Daiton, Jacey, and Dax, Lauren DuBose and children Jayden and Mia, and Katy DuBose.

Other survivors include sisters-in-law, Jean Wooten, Brenda Black and Linda Padget; and brother-in-law, Joe Black and his wife Charlene.

Mr. DuBose was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford and Vesta DuBose; brother, Tommy DuBose; father and mother-in-law, Loranza and Versie Black; grandchild, Sarah DuBose; great-grandchild, Noah Newman; sister-in-law, Jackie Black; and brothers-in-law, John Black, Ross Black and JD Wooten.

Pallbearers will be Davy DuBose, Clint DuBose, Stephen DuBose, Mark DuBose, Clay DuBose and Dan DuBose.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
